The animations are nice, but you have to individually download most of the knots. Really, it just makes sense to have a larger sized app and save time. Until then, Id recommend one of the other apps.

I like the way the 3D sequences are presented. Great app for learning basic knots.

This app very clearly teaches you how to tie 7 different knots. Including non-slip, combining two pieces of rope and 5 more. I have yet to find an activity requiring a knot that this app hasnt had. Great, quick reference app for when you need it.
